Everyone dreams of their wedding day from a certain stage in their lives. But when the big day is just round the corner, you might realize that you have not given enough thought to the decorations, and you have to buy cheap ones. Planning your wedding is huge fun, right from getting the dream dress and hitting the perfect ambience at the venue. Most couples would love a grand wedding, and some don’t even bother about the costs. But it’s true that for most, money is an object, and you have to think cleverly and so some smart buying to achieve an elegant wedding per se. you must have set a budget for decorations, and you can get nice, stylish ones at almost any price range.

Use your imagination and creativity to get that elegant, grand look for your wedding. Location comes first, and then you need to choose a dress. After you have invited all the people you want to be there, you are ready to think about decorations. Of course, you must have set a date by now!

Your budget will depend on the kind of wedding you want to have. If you have decided to have it at your parents’, it is going to be casual. You might already have hired a banquet hall. Whichever you want, you can get inexpensive yet beautiful decorations to suit the atmosphere your wedding.

Floral decorations are very in. but you don’t have to burn a hole in your pocket paying a florist. You can plant the bulbs in your own garden a few months in advance so they are ready for D-Day. You can simply get them arranged for the day. If this doesn’t suit you, you can get potted plants from your local nursery and have them dug up and put in vases or jars on the special day. You can get the vessels at the dollar store or even use discarded pots from a florist.

You could add a dash of color to the décor by getting the pots painted in gold, silver or any other jewel tone. You could also wrap them in metallic paper and tuck in a ribbon to add some zing. If you like, you can have the guests take away the smaller pots as wedding favors. Throw the larger arrangements around near the altar, the bride’s table and the parents’ table, even along the aisle.

You could also get some candles in different shapes, sizes and colors. Aromatic candles are a good idea. You can wrap them in ribbon, or lace, or perhaps silk, though you have to be safe. When you have lit them, a bunch of candles can make for an attractive centerpiece. If the flames are reflected on a mirror, you get double the warmth, the brightness and the cheer.
