Japan is a unique country. They have unique arts such as crafts, cuisines, fashions and architectures. They also have unique culture and lifestyle. As you can see, almost all country around the world was influenced by their lifestyle, fashion and so on. Japan is an expensive country too, but you won’t regret what you had paid. It is a rush country. Almost all of Japanese people are workaholic. They also very creative people who like to invented unique stuff.

There is lots of festival every month. Some of their famous festivals are:
Hina Matsuri or Doll festival. This is a festive event held on March 3rd when hina ningyo dolls are decorated in homes where there are daughters. It is also called Momo-no-Sekku (Peach Festival). Displayed on a tiered doll-stand are gorgeous hina ningyo dolls together with miniature articles and furniture. And offerings of diamond-shaped rice cakes, sweet and peach blossoms are made to accompany prayers for the healthy growth and happy future of the daughters. There is also the custom of cooking clams and short-necked clams, these dishes decorate the doll-stand and are served as a special dinner for this feast.

Setsubun (Bean-Throwing Festival) is the day preceding risshun that is the first day of spring according to the old Japanese calendar, or the so-called lunar calendar. On the day of Setsubun, there is the custom of throwing roasted soybeans while chanting “In with Fortune! Out with Evil” in order to prevent evil ogres from entering one’s house. It is believed that the ogres are warded off by throwing beans, and that good fortune will then come to one’s home. On this day, events with entertainers and athletes are held at shrines all over the country. According to Japanese tradition, if you eat the same number of beans as your age, you will enjoy a year of good health.

There is still Harajuku. Actually Harajuku is a train station. The area around usually on Sunday people at all ages parade by their own style. You will be very surprised too see their style. But some of their style already had been adapted in other country. And not a surprised too, lots of people in the world admirer their style. Although sometimes looks a bit freaky but they all fabulous. Believe me; you won’t regret what you spend, because you’ll see the very unique country.
